FUEL FOR JETS-----
I wanted to let everyone know as I did last year, I will go up to the FBO and fill my drum with JET A, I will have a pump on site and can pump fuel. My price will be as it was last year 20.00 for 5 gallons, I make nothing on this, Just helping other modelers who need fuel. My price of 20.00 for 5 gallons is of course based on JET-A staying at its current price, if it jumps due to the Harvey disaster, the price will be what I pay for it, Like I said I am not making anything on it, just helping other pilots who are not local and need fuel.

The guys from BVM just called, Greg will be here Tuesday, Rob and Kirby will be here Wed. or Thursday depending on a work thing. At this time the plan for their trip is to go I-10 to I-49 in LA then N. to Shreveport. If any of you LA people know of a better way please let them know. You can get hold of them at BVM

Hello all, hope to make the flyin and meet more fellow jet flyers.
I was watching GasBuddy Availability map for my intended trip from Bartlett, TN down to Center Point this morning and back up to Waco Tuesday. Delayed till Mon or Tues.
Just checked my major stopping points as of 1:30 pm today and many more green, got gas, dots are showing up. Gas Buddy has a phone app if you do that sort of thing.
The Texas Rail Road Commission, they are in charge of oil from drilling a well to the station pump, had posted Thursday that there was plenty of gasoline storage they just had to get the trucks rolling again.
Former Texas resident 2X
(conceived in Germany, born in Kansas, raised in Mississippi, now reside in Tennessee but, I have been a Texan all my life, after all, it is a State of mind) I still prefer its county roads where a one finger waive is the index finger palm side toward you over the steering wheel to say "HOWDY" and they still ease onto the shoulder of the road if you want to pass.
Metro anything sucks, Luckenbach rules and Lone Star is smooth, Why yes Waylon, " It don't matter who's in Austin,....Bob Wills is still the king ". Of course, Asleep at the Wheel is purdy darn good.
Howdy yall

A Havoc was flown today with a KT210. Awesome flight.plenty of punch.
Tune in tomorrow "for the rest of the story"

Okay cool, I will come down in the morning and stay the day, all I need is a place to get 110 Volts to my trailer at night when im sleeping. Yeah the tomcat is WAAAAAAAY past due for flights, it seems every time I fly it something major happens. I had planned on making it the priority at KY jets but the engine fried itself after one flight so that killed it for the entire event. I still need to swing the wings, so sad but what do you expect when your only flying 3-4 times a year. See you guys tomorrow!
