Default New tv pipe

One of my customer got the pipe for his Mephisto Today, it's different from the one I got, seems a lot lighter and I think it will have better performance due to it's longer TV end..

Sounds like the new pipe is a bit lighter and should be more efficient. My old style pipe has also started kinking in and jamming the vector pipe so I've got a new pipe on order.

The new pipes are made by Alfred Frank (the guy behind Frank turbines). As far as I know this change was necessary because the old supplier was unable to catch up with the demand.

Guys, what do you think about this engine location? Assuming that I'll cut 1 inch from the carbon of the cone of the pipe. So all in all, the engine cone will be 1.25 inch into the carbon cone. (Currently it's 2.25 inch in)

Do you think it's okay to place it all the way in the front of the miunt?

Its the gap between the turbine tail cone and start of the steel pipe tube that is important. Set that around 45mm. The carbon bell needs cutting back as much as you can for max thrust. Having the mount at the front of the wood rails should not cause any issues.

Me Too.....
I have the third Mephisto in my workshop ready to start the assembly ... I found the surprise that the pipe and vector are different. I would like to know if there are any photos or any instructions on how to correctly assemble this new set.

Just weighed a CARF tank and its 172g with tube and clunk. Don't have a smoke tank here.

I found a piece of 3mm carbon fiber that fitted like a glove! Super strong support.
