A true gentleman and treated my questions with interest even though I was a small customer.
Thoughts and prayers for Todd and family

So 16 years ago I'm driving this choo choo train of a tow across the greater southeast, a ford expedition, a travel trailer, and an airplane trailer. I'd just got signed off on jets a couple of weeks before and realized that spring air and wire struts don't really cut it in a kangaroo....... I call Todd and ask if I can stop by his house and help me get some robart installed. I pull up in this nearly 60 foot long train, end up spending the night, telling stories and just carrying on in general. The following few days were a rally in Florida, I don't think it exists anymore, but Todd, George, and I were able to fly a lot of fuel, eat a lot of frito pie, and I'll never forget us sitting there and Todd says, "I'm thinking about starting an online hobby business"...........

Over the years, we had a lot of great conversations, always started with business acumen, and always ended with family. Then there was that time in Austin........

A few months back we spoke about him taking on Jetcat, logistics, some of the great negotiating methodologies he was expecting...... Again, sharing photos and stories of kids, life at the new place, always looking to the future.

I'm just crushed for Lisa, Erin, and Luke..... and Todd's extended family Terry and Lou who he loved so much.

George, I'm just gutted for you.......

Seeing Todd on caller id always made me smile... Elda and I were at the totality line in Idaho when we found out. It was a somber drive out of there, it hit us pretty hard as Todd was always Elda's favorite guy I knew, and we are going to miss him a lot.

Todd was a visionary and a 'real' entrepreneur and I'm personally very fortunate to have met and worked with him.

Thank you for supporting the small business and understanding our challenges
Thank you for being accommodating and forward thinking
Thank you for being honest and straight talking
Thank you for always being on the end of a phone
THANK YOU

Rest in peace

Marc

Great story Sean, funny thing is I originally met Todd at Sean's house in Austin! Working on jets of course. Great guy, wonderful memories I'll always cherish. Still can't believe it.

When I first started in jets, someone referred me to Todd to get stuff. They told me Todd wouldn't talk to you on the phone, so know what you want when you call.. Be brief because he is short with you being so busy..

So I made my list in detail, but needed advice on a couple things.. I told Todd that I'm new and needed some help picking a couple things.. He spent almost an hour with me on the phone chatting about when he was new. I made a friend that day.. He built that business from nothing into what it is now.. He could build anything, fix anything, engineer anything, and get it done.. He will be sorely missed...Tailwinds brother.

A little over 10 years ago while attending Florida Jets I had the pleasure to meet up with Todd and a great friendship started that day. He was a major sponsor of our events down here in Argentina and Chile. Very few times in life one has the pleasure to meet and become friends with an individual of his caliber, honest, strait forward, hardworking , visionary…….and above all a great friend.

My condolences go out to the family and staff.

May the DREAM continue .

Very sad. I don't know Todd personally but he built up one heck of a business and a great reputation. The Dreamworks guys can carry on that strong legacy.
