I have successfully updated 2 R3/RSW receivers. I have one R3/RSW that will not connect. I have tried rebooting and different connection wires. I even have two USBa adapters that I have tried and still no connection. I read that if the receiver is older it will not connect to a version of the firmware that cannot be loaded to it. I tried the oldest vesion I coul find on the JETi site and still no connection.

I also have a central box 200 that will not connect.

I know I am connecting correctly as I can get some items to work.

Ideas for the items that will not connect?

How do you find out the version of the firmware on any given device?

Devices often don't connect on the first try, at least not for me. It's not unusual for me to need to connect/disconnect the cable from the USB adapter to the device a number of times before it is actually discovered and updated.

Yep... what he said. BUT... if you want to know the FW on the Rx or box... you can go into the device explorer on your Tx. You will be able to see it there.
