RC Jet International is back!
Hi all,
Hope that it is O.K. to post this announcement.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Radio Control Jet International is back, and under new ownership!
The world’s favourite model jet magazine was in danger of disappearing for good following the demise of its publisher, Traplet Publications, but was saved from this fate when it was acquired by Radio Control Publications Ltd, a new company formed by two lifelong modellers, Marco Benincasa and Colin Straus. Colin has worked in the model trade for over 30 years, Marco is a successful publisher and editor of a leading European model magazine since 1997, as well as being a famous R/C pilot. Both are keen jet builders and fliers and have been for many years
This new and powerful management team will enable RCJI to develop still further and to focus on model jet related articles, topics and latest developments that will be of interest to jet modellers worldwide.
One very important point for those that had subscribed to RCJI, and had feared that they would lose their subscription: we have decided to honour all current subscriptions, no matter how many issues they were for, with Radio Control Publications Ltd funding this significant cost. We know how loyal the readership of the magazine has been and wanted to support our readers to be utmost of our ability. This will apply wherever in the world the subscriber lives: RCJI has an amazing geographical spread, with sales to more than 40 countries!
The first issue under new management will be unveiled at the JetPower show in Germany on the 14th September – subscriber copies will be sent out at the same time, and future issues will be published at the established 2 month intervals.
Articles in this "first" issue include a report on the World Jet Masters and on the winning model, test of the brand new KingTech K-70G2 turbine, preview of the new CARF Joker, as well as much, much more!
Our website www.rcjetinternational.com, where you will soon be able to subscribe to the magazine if you have not already done so, is currently under construction and we plan to have it fully online by October the 1st. RCJI Facebook is now under our control and we'll use it for communication, preview of each new issue of the magazine and many other matters. For information about subscriptions etc e-mail us at [email protected]

Many thanks for the kind comments.
To answer the questions - yes, back issues will be available, we are just working on the logisitics now, and will advise as soon as we are able to supply.

Colin,
I was paying by direct debit, how will this affect me? Will you be able to carry this on or will you be able to tell me when I need to subscribe?

Hi Scott,
We will be continuing the Direct Debit subscriptions and will be in touch with you and all other D/D subscribers soon with more information, particularly for those whose subscriptions have now run out. Those with copies still owing will continue to receive them until their subscription is complete.
Hi Air Works,
Yes, your Pocketmags subscription should continue unaffected. (if not please let us know!)
