Wish I could have been there. Just got home from Best in the West Wednesday and just didn't have the energy to make it.
Heard a lot of excellent feed back about the event. Good job guys. Also the move to the new location at the airport was the right move I'm told. Hopefully next year

Nice meeting everyone on Friday. Wish I could have stayed another day. In the one day I was there I doubled my number of turbine flights. Sweet. Next time I'll bring a second can of fuel! Here are some pics I took at the event. Yes... I was the dork with the giant camera. Hope you like them. I didn't take too many people pics... I mean... I know you are all models and what not, but I barely know you and didn't want to get slapped with a harassment suit
First pic... check out that strut compression. Gear door almost touches. If you look close you can see the wheel spinning up too.

And lastly... the light got really nice as the sun dove behind the trees.
Sorry I didn't get everyone's planes. I didn't really start shooting until the light started getting nice out there. Next time I'll try to get more.

Johnnie and I had a really nice time seeing everyone again this year. Moving the tents on the north side was definitely a good idea. I had issues with the new Spektrum update on the DX18 messing up my UB programming. Apparently, it didn't like the Powerbox and couldn't merge a couple of channels even after multiple binding. I ended up ripping out the powerbox and starting all over with just the RX. , and I also burned out a flap servo trying to adjust the flaps (DOH!!!). Thanks so much Mike for taking the time to find someone who had some matc hing replacement servos that were high voltage. Unfortunately, I broke my own rule and worked on that stinking jet all day on Saturday before I realized I ran out of time to fly.
Thanks Teri for the good food and friendship. We LOVE this event and we will be back next year for sure!
I did although get to maiden the BVM F1 Mirage. Here is a video of that maiden. Thanks Ahsan for taking the video!

Very nice pics, what kind of F-18 is that in the first few shots?
