Thanks Buck! I'll talk to Joey once I find out my Phantom is on it's way.

Mike, I would really like to have it ready for Mississippi this year, but I'm not optimistic that I will be able to since I won't even have it in my hands til sometime next month. One thing is certain though...I will have mine flying before Buck's since he has only been working on his for the last 14 months or so.

Kevin, thanks I am really looking forward to it!

Someone was asking some questions on the plane in a different thread so I thought I’d bump this to help

Some more thoughts:

the 210 works and looks very scale on climbout. My data logger starts when I pull the gear...the airspeed is pretty consistently 77mph at that point. Remember final airspeed when the plane is 10# lighter is 69 so it’s not accelerating at an unprecedented rate. The flaps usually get left at half/takeoff position for the first half lap or so

I have to agree with my buddy that it looks nice and Scale climbing out...especially with tanks/bombs/TERs but it feels a little soft. I know if I leave the power in it for a few laps I can push 200mph however (even with the TERs and bombs).

I have been flying it without tanks and that of course helps

i think the KT260 or P200 or Oly would be awesome in this thing. (Again, remember I’m about 42# dry)

Good timing on resurrecting this thread. I just got notice today that my Phantom is finally on it's way to me. Supposed to arrive on Thursday.
