Gosh !!!

Thanks for the interest, that photo was taken in 2012, as I type this I'm just packing for the annual trip, hoping this year to get the shot I've been chasing for 8 years, all being well Weather wise, next week we should hopefully make it back to this location, though the hike up is a killer, 10km in distance hiking from 5000 to 10,000 ft and I'm getting older, we hike through the night, normally arriving as the sun rises over the alps, that moment is breath taking, though by then I'm normally knackered as the oxygen supply hits you from 8000 ft upwards.

Anyway thanks for the interest, most of my pic's if your interest are on my FB page - Laurie Hughes Photography & R/C

Hi Laurie

Fantastic photos. Is there a good time to visit the loop and is there anywhere I get info of what's happening?

Thanks
Paul
