Pipe for Skymaster F4 - Help
Hi
I had a hot start with my P180RX, that by the way is very prone to do it..... not very enthusiastic about Jetcats nowadays...
Because I live in Europe I asked grumania and Osvy, but not very happy with their answers. My last resource seems to be a friend that as a welding machine and to buy the plate and do it by myself
Tamjets seems to be having some issues as well
As anyone as a spare pipe willing to sell? Any other sources?
By the way, it was flying beatifully with stock pipe turned upside down and CG at arround 235mm. Tail covered with Flitemetal handled the wetstart without any issue ;-)
Thanks
Nuno
Thanks
Nuno

Hi
Thanks for thefeedback. I have decided to take the risk and make a trip on my own. One of my dear friend HMJETS as a welding spot machine and is willing to help
I just received a roll of stainless steel AISI 316 and definetely it is a high grade stainless steel. While a regular magnet just sticks to the stock pipe, in this steel it seems that you are holding plastic or wood....
Seems I am in the right track. Now for the tailor job part
Will keep you posted
