Brian Omeara is running one in his Airworld F104. That motor is running great. They don't have the generator.

Just got one after waiting around 7 months for delivery. Actually got the P300PRO-GL version with a generator.

A step up in RC modeling applications - amazing that once the engine is running you can disconnect the turbine battery (not that you'd do that during flight).

Had a small problem shutting down the turbine but solved it with the support of Jetcat. Thumbs up!

This engine can operate up to 30,000ft!

One last thing - very important. For the first time in history I see Jetcat allowing the user to upgrade the firmware. So you don't need to ship it back to the service center for upgrade, you hook it up on your laptop and it takes 3mins to download and upgrade the firmware.

You can find the latest upgrades here: Downloads - JetCat

Haven't tried it on an airframe yet - it may be another year or so till I install it and fly it to give feedback but I don't see a reason why it should not perform to spec.

All the best from Dubai.

I've got 40 flights on mine and it's been running really nicely. Seems to be trouble free and producing the quoted thrust so all good

I tested today the turbine (-GL) version with the generator and tested JetCAT's claim of disconnecting the turbine battery.....

See for yourselves...

Also see at 1:45 how the telemetry captures the turbine battery discharging back to charging....

I'm really impressed....

Do you have an all up weight for your engine? All the on board equipment that would go into an airframe? I am looking for an engine for my incoming Mephisto...

Around 2,730gr for the engine, 223gr for the mount and around 105gr for the interface. Then the battery is around 167gr. All together around 3,225kg (7.1lbs), not bad at all for an engine that produces 70lb of thrust. RCJI magazine tested the engine a couple of issues ago and says that the total installed weight with 5mins of fuel running at max thrust is 7.9kg(17.4lb).
