Krill avanti or T one fortune
Considering one of these as my next jet, looking for something nice quality and fast to build, any views on pros / cons of each model ? For me good quality, fast build and a nice 2m type sports model is key, both seem to fit the bill

I haven't owned a T one so I can't comment, but I did have a Krill Avanti S (LA Racer scheme) and I have a Krill Spark Evo II (2m F3A pattern plane) inbound this summer.
Krill is very high quality and craftsmanship and worth the price IMHO.
They are painted in mold so if you have a problem with seeing a mold line, you may consider something else; personally I don't mind.

I have a T-One. One of the guys I fly with has a Krill Avanti. They are both comparable in flight characteristics. The Avanti is a bit lighter. The T-One comes with air retacts that are good, a pipe that can handle 80-160 turbines with ease, and a split tank for fuel and smoke oil for about $1000 less than a comparable Avanti. The T-One is also ALL paint with no paint lines, NO decals. The T-One will go together faster than the Avanti. The optional electric retracts tath come with the T-One are outstanding.
They also have servos sets from Savox, and wiring harnesses from Electrodynamics that can get you together even quicker
Also working directly with Dirk makes it a super smooth process. 626-808-6122 or EMAIL: [email protected]
The only question is how much do you want to really spend?
A T-One with everything except receiver, batteries, and gyro for the same price as a Avanti minus those parts.

Thanks for the info, I am in the uk so costs / service are a little different here I guess, both are the same price here with electron retracts, so it's more about speed of build and flying characteristics

I was curious desertlakesflying about the comment on the T1 being a faster build ? they both look similar in the build respect, do you have more details ? fast build is important for me.

There is also a wiring harness and servo package available from the US dealer that makes wiring and servo installs a breeze. I don't think the shipping to the UK would be too outrageous. The T-1 is more of an assembly than a build. It took me longer to program the radio than it did to put the airplane together.

I just make my own; wiring a plane is my favorite job. You can buy the pins, housings, wire and crimp tool from Hansen Hobbies.
