A few things done today, finished fitting the ECS vents and they are glued in. Knocked out the stab servo covers and hard mounted the main tank. Tomorrow I will get the main gear frame back in and assemble the two halves for equipment install.

Thanks for sharing the heater. Are you saying there is no exhaust when run on Diesel or Kerosene? I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean.

thanks.

Spent most of the day getting the gear back in, never a good moment when you finished installing something just to realize you have to take it back out and turn something around since I had it flipped over I did the bottom hatches as well. After that I started on hard mounting the saddle tanks, and please excuse the gear doors! They make my eyes want to explode, how is that quality? It looks like some kid with finger paint painted it, wait I might be on to something there!
Work so far video is uploading

It has legs again

Great progress amigo! Look forward to seeing it next to the Tomkitty.

A few of us are contacting Tailormade for the decal set to add to the big BVM F18. How long does he normally take to respond and does it set come with a placement diagram?

I was in Germany and was in no rush when I ordered mine, so I cant say what a normal order takes. I used the internet for some but he did have some diagrams but you have to ask for them.

Few weeks after contacting them, I realized that there reply was in my spams, they had responded the day after my enquiry.
You can find the placement guide on tailor made decals website :

Okay guys and gals I need some help, for those who have one of these with motors in the tail I could use some pictures of how you managed to make it work. My turbine clamp mounts are not that big but prevent me from using the stock turbine rail system without cutting them. So before I do this I would like to see how others have fought this beast! Thanks!

A little work today, FINALLY got the new Jets Munt M166TS motors in, soooooo nice love the twin ignitor design and the new MR30 style connectors for the motor and ECU. After seeing how little work was required to balance the CNC compressor the makes me excited from a service standpoint. The aluminum start mount is nice as well, no shaky starter and brushless to boot!
I started the airline and the main doors and gear/gear locks are in as well, I plumbed the lock/unlock into the main airlines like the F-14. I added some light ply in the nose section for the UATs which I will finish up today, hoping to join the two halves today. I am trying to get everything forward of the CG for balance purposes, the pumps will be next to the UATs and ECUs forward of that with all batteries in the nose.
Videos are uploading on my youtube page

Easter build progress, a beautiful day to build so I am on it! Still have no clue what I am going to do for the engine mounting but added my pump mount in the nose section and the vents are in for the tanks. Decided to step out of my normal setup and give the new BVM hi-flow flush mount system a try! after seeing it first hand I will be adding it to all my current jets and future, its the prefect ID for me so I highly recommend it. I already use their tank fittings, clunks, clunk line and fuel line in the hi-flow size.
video is uploading and as soon as some hysol dries a bit I will get back to it.

Vents are in saddle tanks are in and lines all connected with lockwire on the fittings. Everything is simple and clean for keeping a watchful eye for issues and the occasional maintenance. The two halves are ready to join!

Man Sm really did half ass this model, the seam line for the nose has a gap large enough to play slots with quarters on one side. Ughh I would be embarrassed if this was something my company produced, anyway I digress. Since I have to repaint the model I can fill it and fix it but just one more thing.

Wonderful build, quick question could you tell me where on Taylormade Decals did you find all those decals for the landing gear? Have looked everywhere and no luck.
Thank you

So I spent a little time fixing the poor seam problem, this is what happens when you rush a model and have no attention to detail. Anyway I tried a few things but the hysol gave me the best results it looks pretty good and hopefully once repainted it will look good. I also go the last bit of electronics in so no I have 100% of everything to finish the model, just need to get busy as I can with everything going on. The new M166TS uses and 2200 11.1V which gives about 5 or 6 starts so thats really nice since the batteries are very light weight compared to the 9.9 LiFe packs I normally use. You can run 9.9 volts with the motor but I recommend 11.1vs I hoping to fly it at KY jets so fingers crossed..... I wish I knew someone local that was good at painting, I could really use so help on learning how to do things proper.

Two valves for the gear, one for the doors and the little guy is the brake valve. The rectangular Xicoy box is the sequencer/failsafe/telemetry device. I use them on everything now. I dont need a pressure gauge for the gear since I can read the pressure on my radio.

this tray slides in the nose from the front and is removable as needed. The Power system batteries will be just forward of the two here.

Start the electronic install, kinda putting off the turbine install because its going to be a super pain in the butt. This power system is over the nose gear and all the air cylinders and turbine batteries are on the removable tray. The squar box on the nose tray is the controller for the power system, I have two 5200 Ion packs that will mount on the forward nose cone section as well.
Small steps but im working when I can, have lots going on these days. Cheers!
