Default Mississippi Afterburner 2018

It's time for the 27th Mississippi Afterburner April 19-21. For any newbies, it's at the John Bell Williams airport (KJVW) in Raymond MS, 6000', lots of RV parking, Jet A and oil on site. overnight airplane storage. Saturday nite has the best food around including 200lbs of crawfish, catfish, 3 flavors of homemade cobbler, 5 flavors of homemade ice cream. Dawn, Bob-O and Price cook breakfast in the hanger Friday and Saturday mornings, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes free to the pilots and crew. Lots of pilot giveaways and a great auction. Bring extra bucks for the custom made Mississippi Afterburner potato gun in the auction. Commercial tents available. For you who don't know, this events raises money for a scholarship fund you created for the aviation department of the school who owns the airport we use. So we're having fun and doing some good. We have kept people in school who otherwise would have not financially be able to stay. Thank you! None of the money we take in goes in our pockets. Registration is $45.00 preregister or $65.00 on site. Go to MississippiJets.org and click on a for a regisfterburnertration form. AMA and FAA required. Call Dawn Ellzey at 972-264-4288 for help with hotels. Several close by. Call me on tents and questions. Vernon 601-955-3826.

Looking forward to coming down, Addison has always said it's his favorite jet meet. After the snow storm we had last night we are REALLY looking forward to it.

Registration and a check for a 20 x 30 tent is in the mail. I'm looking forward to it, no drama, just 3 days of flying fun.

Vernon...Dawn had you beat by about two months. I received my booking notice back in December from Dawn Ellzey that my room at the Hampton Inn was booked for the event...MAKING me just having to come back...AGAIN! BTW, got your request for the JPO Top Gun Trophy, so I will have that with me for sure.

Can't wait!

Hey Vern,
We are so looking forward to coming down. This will be my son Patricks first jet meet and he is really excited. Its all he talks about since we committed to coming. Can't wait. My oldest son Klaus is so bummed as he is in college and that is the start of finals week.
All of this would not happen if our best buddy Addison did not put all the driving and transport of our birds on his shoulders, we get to fly down like rock stars and enjoy because of him, Thanks Addison!!!!!!
