These Robart tires are still foam, but harder foam and they were kinda hard to get onto the rims, but not too hard that 2 small flat head screw drivers didn’t help.
There are are only one set of Robart 6” tires. Let me see if I can post a link.

I ran into a problem with the “rootlets”.
The Fowler flap mechanism has the top of the flap move up 2-3 mm above the top of the wing towards the end of travel.
This is caused the flap to rub on the rootlet.
I had to sand quite a bit of material off the bottom of the rootlet so that the flap would not rub on the rootlet.

Also, all the hinged surfaces have been put on. The first problem I see is that my full elevator travel is 30 mm.
Frankly, that seems a bit low.
Which leads to my next question: what are the throws and CG for this bad boy?
I’ve been able to get some info (ail, flap and rudder) from some of Oli’s posts, but it would be nice to have all those values somewhere so it’s easy for everyone to see.

FYI I ball raced my elevators and ailerons, although my ailerons are modified to accommodate decelerons. I also incorporated some taileron movement thinking it would reduce some of the tail plane forces. My aileron deflections are two inches up and one inch down. My CG is just rear of the FRONT of the wing tube, this can safely be moved rearward up to half an inch if a three axis gyro is incorporated. As can be seen from my videos the model has no tendency to balloon on the glide path. The model is powered by two JC Cheetehs (160) which I am very happy with.

This is by far my best scheme ever for an A10, maybe this is why I choosed it for my A10... And this picture of Stan's A10 is the reason why I felt in love with the hog !
