Default Elite Areosports Viper

So I have one of these coming in about week. Wanted to see who out there is flying one and how they are. Maybe some throws, good CG etc..Haven't seen much on the internet, but heard they were good fliers. I would appreciate any feedback..Thanks

There is a lot of information to find on the FB page of EA owners.
I have now around 10 flight on my Viper and I like it very much. I love to “build” as light as possible and mine weight 8,6 kilo ready to fly minus fuel.
The first flights was with a CG of 200 mm but I found it way to aft. Needed a lot of down trim, no elevator correcting inverted and it wanted to pull to the belly in knife edge. I added 100 gram of lead in the nose and it is way much better now.
If you compare the throws in the manual I found:
-you need much more rudder throw
-less elevator throw (pitch sensitive also due to CG)
-a little more aileron throw
-I use a little less flaps and added crow during landing.

Of course the recommended throws is a good start to begin with.

I have the Kingtech K102G4+ installed. Great match for the Viper.

I've flown one, they are SUPER light! Landings are a breeze and it can fly super slow!

You don't need to overpower it! It is completely happy and will do any maneuver you want on an 85. a 102 if you want more power.

I have an 85 sitting around that needs a home, thinking of the red splinter camo version

I finally got mine in, I’m amazed at how light it is. I picked up the box with one hand!! Can’t wait to get this in the air.

So I can’t get a k102 for a little bit as they are not in stock , can get a K85 as it’s in stock. Does the 85 have enough oomph for this thing??

It'll be completely fine. This plane is incredibly light!
