Default Fb t-33

My FB T-33 shipped today. The colors represent the 95th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, The Boneheads (my old squadron 80-83) Will be powered by a Jet Central Rhino 200. Control by Jeti 12Rex and 3Rex thru Cortex Pro as dual path. MKS 777A+ servos throughout. Air control is Jetronics hi flow for gear and Xicoy for doors, speedbrakes and canopy. Will post pix throughout the assembly. Purchased thru Eric Clapp who was actively involved in the paint process with FB. Cant wait to see it for real next week.

Overall i'm happy. A couple of paint errors that most people will not notice. Construction looks outstanding, paint excellent. Now the build begins. Wife out of town and hurricane in town. Nothing to do but build.

I did the same but still needed tons of lead in the nose. My pipe was custom made from Grumania in Germany, Ilya ships worldwide. Allin all nice but very heavy flyer. You will most likely also have problems with the gear twisting unless FB has improved the clamps gripping better. Please also do yourself a favor and replace all the cheap China wheel bearings right away. Do not rely on the flange bearings alone and stuff in 4 additional bearings per wheel.

24hrs after I unpacked it the servos are ready for final installation, control horns all glued in. Servo wire run to tail. Gear is out for cylinder oil and locktite. The only problem I see is some engineering required for the canopy
. There is no locking mechanism, only the cylinder to hold it closed....NOT. by tonight I should have the tail and wings complete. This thing has 312oz fuel.tanks. I wont do that. My other Rhino powered jets only

hold about 160ish and give 9 minute flights. I probably will not install main tank. (152oz) and install a smaller tank total about 185oz. Saddles are 80oz each.

I have seen several fly great on 160 size motors at sea level and at 6,000ft and 90d temps...you should be fine with a 180 and Tom will have a rocket with a 200 ha

Hi Vincent. I fly off grass and wanted thrust. Unlike a lot of my buds who have an on/off throttle I know how to use the left stick. You flying any Migs? Thinking about another FB Mig 21. The new layup is lighter and has CG laminate formers. FB quality continues to improve.

Hello Tom, could you please tell me who you used to order your T33. Is Eric Clapp a FeiBoa contact?
Thank You,

Carlos
