Default In Production BVM PNP's

Hi guys,

I recently asked Patty for a list of PNP jets that are in production and available for purchase, I figured someone here might be looking for a new model and could save a bunch of lead time over placing a new order.

1:7.75 Scale F-18 Navy Aggressor
1:9M Viper Jet Marlboro
1:5 Scale L-39 Black Diamond
1:5.8 Scale Cougar Sea Gloss Blue
1:5 Scale F-16 Texas ANG

Like the F100 and F4. What ever happened to the Panther mold BV bought from Dan at Details 4 Scale? Three that would make sense!!! Sad there are so few real builders anymore so arfs are the order of the day

I gotta say that any SM/FeiBao/JL arf needs many moons to be completed if you intend to build it as light as possible with best linkages etc.. I have "assembled" several and always end up building and painting again the damaged areas. Only real PnP has been one F18 which was built by another flier...

It might be worthwile to buy unpainted one someday and make it as I like..

I'm guilty of the ARF and PNP convenience, Owning an adult daycare (Construction based business) and having younger kids, finding time to build a kit would take forever.

Oh ok, these are the ones "on the table" so to speak, got it. I read production as in these are all you can even order to have built.

Not at all, selecting one of these models would save someone probably 8 weeks of waiting depending on how far along the airplane is through production. Newly placed orders are roughly 16 weeks which can be half of our flying season depending on where you live.

Another neat option BVM is now offering is a choice of Matte or Gloss clears for display and airshow schemes, Personally, I was never a fan of the Indiana ANG scheme is a high gloss clear! I think it looks way better in a matte or flat finish.

BVM will be attending BITW this year and we are bringing everything! This will be a great opportunity to see all the PNP airplanes in person and watch them fly. We also plan to debut our baby 1:7.75 8.5kg powered F-16 which is now available to Pre-order for $4,295 in any color scheme you'd like in flat, matte or gloss at no extra charge.

I’m glad BVM are doing different size models to suit different people’s needs and not just the Giant size

Kevin,

You'll be happy to hear the F4 and F-100 molds that Bob acquired have been shipped overseas to the factory, there is no timeline currently for a release date.

Cool, we need more F-16s in the market!

I remember the day I joked when asking Anton when would a 1/6.375 F-16 come out. Glad to see I'm not that far off.

Please ask them to do different models than just different sized F16’s and F18’s etc there’s plenty of them in the market. Skymaster are going down the road of only producing giant versions of the same models they’ve done for years. The bvm mirage F1 is really cool, do more like that.

F-35! One fuselage, 2 wing sets, 1 for AF A model and another for Navy C model. A single nose wheel for AF and a dual for Navy. You can make everyone happy! It is the future of tactical aviation and there are no models of it.

That would get you pretty close, but there are some more "skin deep" differences. A has AF aerial refuel panel on top, C has long extended probe panel on the side. Also C has a very pronounced belly fairing for the tail hook. Lastly (that I recall) C model has APU exhaust on the aft top, A has it aft bottom. If tails were interchangeable, C would have formation lights,

I’m sure they could just use the old Jetlegend F35 molds and improve on that. Like I said on Skymaster thread would be nice to see some different things like migs, sukhoi’s, rafale, mirages, F84, F105, F22... the list is endless for different models but for some reason manufacturers keep it safe with the usual F16’s, F18’s,hawks etc
