Default Wizard S

Just completed this very cool little jet from ZN Line.
This was built from the basic kit. Paint was applied by my friend Ted Schoonard. This is the first kit Iíve built from ZN Line and was an absolute pleasure to build. The glass work is some of the nicest Iíve seen.

Wizard S basic kit
Merlin 100
HiEP pipe
CM Jets tank
Jeti REX 12 w/REx R900
Jeti MUI 30
Cortex Pro
Digitech CTU and IAS
Ditex TD0806MD servos (ail,elev,rud,nose whl)
MKS HV747 servos (flaps)
FCT UAT
Electron ER30 gear
Pulse 2s 5000 pack

Can't wait for this jet to arrive here in Los Angeles.

Why the 747's on flaps? I have a Mini T1 that has the Ditex TD0806MD all around (never flown)....do they not have enough torque?

Should I swap them out for the trusty 747's?

Cheers
LOVE your builds.....

Will be interesting to see how it slows up with the idle thrust of that JM 100. It will be a missile too, I flew one with a JetCat P-60 and performance was good, he now fitted a JM70 and with the high exhaust gas speed it needs high throttle stick position all the time.
Glad Ted still paints, I have a couple of X-Cell’s he painted for me at MA

I would like to thank Danny and the team at “Rocket Factory” for another awesome project. Can’t wait to see it in person. I was told the paint job is amazing (based on my new Ferrari Pista). The electronics used and the programming by Danny is “state of Art”

I will post more after maiden. I’m anticipating a rocket after what I saw at BITW with an M70.

The Ditex were a bit soft on holding power. Plenty ok for the flight surfaces but with the extra leverage of the flaps I was uncomfortable how easy it was to back drive them. I tried every program setting but ended up swapping them out with the 747ís.

I really like that. Just haven't had the guts to try it yet.

Iíve set up several small jets on a single pack. MUI 30 sends data from the pack real time to the Jeti TX. Itís a nice simple setup.

Yes... I use a single 3800 mah 3 cell LiFe... you split the output one straight to ECU... the other goes through a Jeti SBEC regulator adjusted at a steady 8.4... The regulator can be adjusted from 5-8.4v...

Works great... Lighter jet flies better
