Need old AMT USA Electronic Data Terminal EDT with RJ 45 jack
EDT with RJ 45 jack
Does anyone have an older AMT USA EDT with an RJ 45 jack that I can buy or borrow?
Got an AMT 450, big sucker ... would like to know what's going on during startup which it looks like it might do but is taking a while.
Thx in advance for any input

It's an AMT USA, don't know if that info makes a difference
I had a 280 (or 36 lbs turbine) with the same connector some 3 or 4 years ago that turnnburn helped me with ... here's a pic of that ECU from the Pegasus with the RJ45 jack.

at 450 ecu
I have a USA air start AT- 400 ECU that will run that engine with the standard data terminal I am willing to sell. PM or email: [email protected].

John Roth might know. I have AMT turbines dating back to 1997. Both USA and Netherlands, from the mercury (180) to olympus (450) and multiple pegasus' and never seen that ECU before. I suspect it must be from after USA and NL went separate ways and before USA became US micro jets. You could try contacting Bennie at AMT NL but I don't think NL ever used any ECU like that one.

Looks like John hasn't been on rcu in 5 years. This is his profile. He is on facebook as well.

A RCUr called me and we went through some steps to get er fired up and it did
The pump was stuck (turbine hasn't been started in 2 years IINM) and after applying some higher voltage to it for a split second the pump flowed some fuel and I was able to go through the start up process with the turbine.
Now I have to learn how to get the ECU for the AMT USA to learn the stick movements and limits through my own rx.
Using the EDF Turbine \ servo driver I go all the way down with the throttle (trim up) after started the motor then goes through a shut down process (spool up and shut off).
Another RCUr called and said the throws on the EDR device might be set too narrow or to wide for the ECU to learn throttle and trim settings so I think I have to use my own radio rx and play with the throws similar to what TurnNBurn had to do.
