Default Direct drive nose wheel steering strut

Anybody know where I can find a more or less "generic" nose wheel strut that is setup for direct-drive steering?

Thanks!

Bob try one from Behotec. Had several of them in A-10's and Tutors, if the size works. That's C*50 series. Think they are made in C-40's as well.

Good luck.

Robart now makes a servo mount that will fit any retract unit with a hole for a 1/2" strut.

www.hobby-china.com/planes/landing-gear/

These guys have some generic gear that may meet your desire. They also have three sizes. The gear that I have from them has held up well.

Thanks for the info. guys, very useful as always.

I think that the Robart unit is what I need, I just need to verify the diameter - I'm pretty sure its 1/2". I'll have to turn the nose retract unit around in order to use direct drive but I can do that when I rebuild the broken nose gear mount in the Euro...

Len, thanks for the pointer to Hobby-China! Now I know where the gear in my Turbinator2 came from and where to get spare parts.
