FYI, The PNP upgrade option will be $700.00

This option includes Digital HV servos installed, UAT installed, Fuel tank plumed, Servo extensions ran up to the nose RX area, landing gear installed and gear/brake controllers installed.

Will have the option up on the site soon. For those that have already ordered there Micro's please contact Dirk and he will get it added to your order.

Thanks again

Just a couple of silly questions.
1. How do you install/mount the K30 back in the rear fuselage? Is there an access panel that I'm not seeing?
2. Is a K30 enough thrust for a 4.5kg (dry or wet..not sure) sport jet to take off from grass?
3. In the prorotype photo showing the K30 looking in from the rear of the fuse, it is the angle or is the turbine quite off centered?

Good day
No access hatches, you mount your engine to the rails, hook up you wires and fuel line and slide it into the rail slots in the center top and bottom of the former's. Then nstall small back plates with two screw to keep it secure.
The 4.5KG is with K-30 wet RTF. For grass you might want to go with the K45 depending on how short and smooth you field is, The Micro has only been flown off a paved runway
The photo that you see is from an angle thus the reason the engine looks to be off, it is center. The engines(s) mount in the center line of the tailcone.

Great News!!

The factory has just stream lined the final packaging and have managed to reduce the shipping cost to only $95.00. For those that have already purchased, I will be issuing a refund for the shipping differential.

Cheers,

Dirk

This might be the perfect turbine for this jet:

Thanks for posting this. I remember hearing of a new smaller JetsMunt engine a while back but it was delayed.
I think that was the missing piece of the puzzle for this plane.
The X45 in the tail should be perfect for grass operations (assuming the JP gear holds up ... perhaps Electron ER30's could be retrofitted if needed without too many modifications)
Since it's from Gaspar, the engine should be very high quality with great support. A much better option than trying to buy and run a Lambert Kolibri over here in the USA.

Do you know if they will be installing the new K45G3 in the mid fuse (with pipe) or in the tail (no pipe)?

Thanks
I don't have a FB account but I'll search for it via Google.
For me, I think an X45 in the tail would be the simplest and lightest setup, thinking about grass field.
It should also provide the option to put the tank directly centered on the CG and avoid any CG shifts with fuel load.

What size tailpipe would a K45G3 or a X45 need?

Depends on who makes the pipe. I would call a pipe manufacture and see what they recommend. Hiep would be a good one to call or Joey Tamez.

I’ve ordered mine this last Thursday. Wanting to do it in a Navy T-45 scheme. We were going to use a K30 but our density altitude can reach 9-10K in the summer so we’re opting for the 45. Borrowed this picture from one lucky pilot on Facebook. Now the waiting begins.

Do you happen to know what the paint on the underside of the Micro T1 looks like on their version of the T45 paint scheme?
