Any chance the factory would consider doing or adding the Swiss scheme?
I think it would look great on this jet and has good visibility/orientation

I would think that if the K45G3 and the X45 are the same size and weight as the 30 they would be mounted in the tail just like the 30 is. I believe the X45 is actually slightly smaller and lighter than the K30

It would be a fun experiment to run it both ways. Yes you gain some weight from the pipe but I wonder if the mass moment of inertia of the engine in the back and then the corresponding weight in the nose could be felt. Not with jets but experimenting with other planes there were definite advantages to keeping as much mass toward the CG as possible.

Like Dansy said, send me the scheme when you are ready to place an order.

Cheers,

Dirk

This is painted just like the real T-45 so the bottom is standard. If you want something different, place your order and tell me what you want.

Cheers,

Dirk

As of today, none of our customers have had to pay any kind of taxes. Due to the amount of orders coming in, I would put the delivery time frame around 8-10 weeks.

Cheers,

Dirk

Okay, thanks.
So, the only access from the top is the canopy?

Gotcha, thanks Dirk. I figured it was best to ask since the pictures of the T-1 patrnflyr posted of the T45 paint scheme appears to have red on the underbelly, which the standard T-45 does not have. It's possible that was a request by the owner.

Yes, That was a special request from the customer and not a norm..

Are these being shipped now to customers? If so, what's the average time span from ordering to receiving? If not, when will they be released to the public? Thanks

I was told they are in production,my guess is if just now ordering it might be a little longer than normal 6 week lead time due to the amount of orders on a new model.

We officially started taking orders about 3 weeks ago. those 1st orders are already in paint or waiting to get in the booth, so I think our standard 6-8 week build, paint and ship time frames will be the same with the Micro T1.

Cheers,

Dirk

Here is a Facebook video, with the new K30 45 in it. Very impressive flying! I have a new X45 arriving next week, so this little T1 could be the perfect combination, no thrust tube required.

I never heard him back out of the throttle one time, even in dives. This plane must be strong and looks to have plenty of speed! Was this with a 30 or 45?

I was thinking that too, he must have the throttle on a 2-position switch. Lol

I have an old AMT mercury. An early one that is 16lbs of thrust. I read comments about a k70 in this airframe. Would a mercury physically fit or would it be way too much for the airframe to handle?

It was designed around the lightweight 30-45 motors. I would think something like the mini or a Joker would be a better choice

In his Facebook post, he says the turbine is the new K30 45 G3, rated at 10lbs. It is exactly the same dimensions as a K30.

I ordered mine the day they released May 14th so just passed eight weeks and nothing yet. Supposedly mine was number 3 off the production line behind the one for Kentucky Jets which i see is there
and PRCJ's demo model, also mine was not a pnp either, which i was told a lot of the orders were so you would think that would be quicker. So really have no idea as i haven't gotten any tracking info or anything,

My T-45 color schemed Micro should be here fairly soon. It took about 8 weeks for the first customer delivery but his wasn’t a PNP. Mine is so may take a little while longer. I’m starting to think about receivers and fly Spektrum. I was considering the 9-12 channel powersafe receiver with the AS3000 gyro. Do you think there will be room in there? I also ordered the Kingtech 45G3 and plan on placing it in the tail, if possible, so maybe it would need batteries up front more than usual. I know we won’t finalize the setup until after looking the plane over in person. I heard there was a prototype at Kentucky jets and wondering if anybody got a video or pics of it.

Thanks for your help
John
