Default BVM 1/7 F-18 Gear

The main gear on my F-18 has leaked out a red fluid from the shock absorber part of the gear. Does anyone with this jet know what kind of fluid it is and how much goes in?

Well after taking them apart, they are packed with a red grease. I’m thinking maybe the grease melted and then leaked out. All I know is gear has bottomed out, jet sits nose high and there is no resistance when you compress the gear as would happen on landing.

I had BVM send me a set of springs that I added to main springs. They know about the problem of mains bottoming out!
