Default Skymaster 1/6 A-10 brakes

Hi
Could anyone tell me on your A10, what disk components you have in the hubs, what are there types, designs and order in which they go.
I am trying an experiment to see if it works. I was sent the wheels, tires and brakes from Skymaster. One of the bags with the mains had the disks just loose in the bag. Everything in the bag is all metal parts. There is the star design that fits up against the wheel as it lines up with the bolt pattern. A brass looking round disk and another round disk that looks like it maybe stainless.
The wheel that came with the disks inside the hub had only three disks. Is this correct. It's order was the star design to the wheel, the brass in the middle and the grey stainless steel to the hub. In the bag where the disks came loose there is 7 disks total. So there three brass round, one grey round and three star designs.
In talking with friend is there another fiber or cork type disk that should have been included in the package. How is there any braking action with metal on metal.
Appreciate your help thanks.
Here is a picture of what came loose in the bag.

There 6 of these loose wheels plus one star shaped one that is still against the wheel.
