Had a great maiden today, thanks to my buddies Tad and Dirk. It was pretty gusty and cold, the gyro gain needed to be much higher, especially that the throws were a little on the shallow side. Flew great with a pair of 160, it will roll on idle, so needed a little brake here and there. Without brakes, it will roll faster than a walking pace. The PNP works out well, plumbing seems to hold up well, all the servos were centered where they should be. However, the servo arms for thrust vectors are a too long and right vectoring was a little distorted because of that, some adjustment or re-engineering is required. Also, the wing clamps could use some attention too, one was a little loose but good thing is that it's accessible right by the main gear door. Otherwise, everything worked as it should, all the gears and doors sequenced and functioned well.
Looking forward to many more flights!
