Just a reminder. To guarantee getting your correct shirt size, you MUST pre-register by Friday, May 10th. I plan to have extra shirts on hand as always, but can not assure you we'll have your size. Like all years past, pilots can wait and register at the event if they want to. There is no price difference in pre-registering or doing it at the event. Same price. Same fun! Pre-registration is very easy on our web site.
We'll be taking tent reservations for a short while longer. May 15th is the cut off. Yes,,,,,,,tents have now started spilling over into the grassy area parallel to the runway.
No promises, but we hope to locate the DW trailer either along the tent line main pit area, or beside the registration tent facing the runway. That's our current plan. As you know, plans can change if we see the need.
Just Two weeks away!!!!! See you guys soon.

A printing business called Dynagraphics in Apex NC. Top notch work and very competitive pricing. They do it all. Screen printing, embroidery and more.

Paved area for tents full ! Still taking tent orders until Wednesday. All tents ordered now will be in grass area along side the main runway. Still a great location!
Extra t-shirts have been ordered but all those who pre-registered by 10th are guaranteed correct shirt size. You will pick it up at registration desk when you check in.
Just a few more days guys!!!!!!!!

Default The View

This is the view from the flight line, for the ones that have not been to this event. It does not get much better than this.

Hi Larry,

As it has become tradition with me, I had an awesome time at "First in Flight"!
Despite my early departure due to family maters, I thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie.

Wonderful applause to all of your well deserving support team!
Knowing first hand what it takes to produce an event, I wish to thank you personally for your dedication, time spent away from your own family so that others can enjoy
the moment!
Bravo...

Frank

Great event! Thanks to Larry, Josh and all the guys who made it happen.

Also, big thanks to Juan from Jet Central and Danny from Aeropanda. Both were a great help to me (and others) during this event!

Craig

To Larry and all the FIF gang who put this event on; a more wonderful time we could not have had! Missing last years event after my heart attack and cardiac surgery really showed me how much this hobby means to me when I received such a warm welcome from everyone there as workers and fliers. The front row seating with the private access aisle was wonderful; Buddy Scott just had to learn to plan that walk to the bathroom when nature called and finally started driving up to it. LOL . Dylan and Jimmy both received their turbine waivers from, our group and both are looking forward to the event next year where I'm sure I'll be replaced by Dylan as our groups test pilot. I think that between Dylan and myself we had close to 75 flights on the groups planes Youth has its benefits! LOL. The highlight was Saturday night when Bob Frantz was presented the Best of Show award for his Ultra Lighting that has a special place in his mind since it was built as a tribute to Eric Baugher our wonderful friend that passed away in 2010. Count on All of us for next year!
