"Real A123 LiFe (2 cel) for RX. LiFe (3 cel) for ecu. Bulletproof and charges in the jet."
And same for me. You can leave LiFe batteries fully charged but LiPo batteries must be brought back to 3.8V/cell within 24 hours or they lose capacity over time. LiFe batteries do not blow up as a LiPo can. These must be charged outside the plane. Not a problem With LiFe batteries. Basically I will never use a LiPo again unless I Have To.AEHaas

In the U.K. most people use 2s Li-Po Rx and ECU. Powerbox is the main power supply and distributor and we are starting to see more people use the Powerbox batteries with built in chargers in larger models.

Same here, KingTech has some big LiFe batteries for the ECU's and you can use those batteries for the JetCats unless you have an older ECU that has not been modified to accept the LiFe's. The good part about buying the other batteries from WrongWayRC is that those are all genuine A123 cells.

2x 5200mAh Jeti Li-Ions in both my jets. Both feed into the CB200/ CB400 for redundancy, plus a split off from one battery to also run the ECU. Starting the turbine is the limiting factor and I can get 4-5 flights before I need to charge. If I can start the engine, I have plenty of battery to fly.
They hold charge for months. Charge them as LiPo even though they are Li-Ion due to the charge protection.
