Where are we setting up this year, up by the terminal or at the lower end?

Mark,
It is not totally determined as of yet, we most likely will be setting up at the far end due to the wet weather and the inability for the airport to cut the grass out front.
The manager mowed the far end two weeks ago for some of the guys who were flying.
I am hoping to be able to cut Friday morning, Thursday looks rather wet again!

If we can mow the area out front we can try, as logistically it a bit easier, but this area has not been cut yet as far as I am aware so it might be a bit tough, i.e. lots of grass clippings etc.

It looks a bit wet tomorrow for anyone arriving early
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday looks great!
Now if that will hold it will be perfect!

Scott,
I'm not sure, I have not walked the run way yet this year, but that will also be a determination on where we set up...

We had a great 3 day event, Friday was a bit windy but not too bad. Saturday and Sunday the weather was perfect
We had 18 pilots flying at the event from the tri-state area, PA, OH, and New York.

The weekend turned out great weather wise. I enjoyed every ones company and met up with some old friends. I want to thank Rich for helping me look for my hatch/canopy. Already looking forward to September. I hope to have the FJ-1 Fury test flown by then so everyone can look forward to seeing it fly in person. Thanks to the Oil Creek Flyers for hosting a great event. Until September...
