1 quart baby oil and 1 gallon of diesel. 80-90% as good as smoke oil and 25% the cost.

I will, since the KC has 60 oz of capacity for smoke then this will be a good solution to have it at any time for a reasonable price.

I found a case of the Bennett's Best in the garage. It's probably fifteenth or twenty years old and cost about $8 a gallon back then. I put a half of a tank in my T-One which has a cheap pump out my foamie Super Viper and no hopper to see if it was still good.

Here is your answer.

Checking the density of the smoke, a mix of 1 gallon of Diesel + 1 qrt of mineral oil, $8.00 per gallon.

I may have to increase the pumps speed, it is at its slowest rpms.

I think I will be using this mix from now on, specially because the ingredients are easy to get locally.

A big thanks to Why fly high and desertlakesflying for the tip.

Agreed. Add a tiny bit of algiecide to the can to prevent its growth.

Here is my Boomerang XL having a taste of the new smoke cocktail

I also tested it during a flight, it looks as thick as the super dry fluid, no diferinces that I could see, I wish one of the guys watching the flight had filmed it, but they were too busy watching the jet fly

That's why I did the vid on the ground, see the column of smoke floating away.

Rick, the pump in my Boomer is a TamJets pump, around 12 years old, the pump in the KingCat is also a TamJets pump also around 12 to 15 years old.
