Bottom line, even though I assured Bogo there were anxious and willing buyers in the States, there is no known date (or estimate really), when it will be ready.

Had a chat with Bogo. He says the molds are essentially finished. Just needs to do a little work on the tail hook and speedbrakes. He says the real holdup is the landing gear. He hasn't been able to find anyone to take the job, partly because of the "small" number of sets he will need. He went on to say that he talked to someone"yesterday" who might be able to make the gear. FYI, the gear need to rotate mechanically 90 degrees during retraction which creates some design/engineering issues due to their size.

I don't know if you are going to Jet Power again tomorrow but if you do, can I ask you a favor ? Can you please ask Bogo some news about the big A10 in 1/4th scale ?

On my way home Jim so I won't be back at Jetpower today. However, I did have some discussion with Oli (MIBO distributor) about the quarter scale A-10. It was the usual answer of "Bogo says it will be ready soon", but no specific time or date. FYI, in the pic below you may be able to see an engine nacelle from the big A-10 on the floor in front of the display A-10.. They also had one of it's giant gear struts on the table. Maybe there's hope?

Another nice video from a person that shared it on Y...be.
Nice small launch pad takeoff with help of extra rockets with a SAB plane at about 14:40 in the video.
And another nice flight with the 1/6 scale Concorde at 20:30 in the video.

Just in the office catching up after a long drive. It was a great weekend, near perfect weather except the fog when we set off home this am. There was plenty to talk about on the 12 hour drive back!

Sounds like they are having the same problem finding capable and willing machinists for their A6 gear as i am for my F14.
Speaking of F14. Does anyone have any info on the one displayed at JP this year?
