Default Let's See Your On-Board Layouts!

Hey guys,
I'm at the point of laying out my on-board setup on my new Futura 2.5, and thought it would be informative to see some of my jet-brethren layouts in their jets. I'm using a Jeti CB200 for guidance and Rhino 200SE for power. Everyone has their own way of doing things and I'd love to see what some of your have come up with. Let's see those pics!! Thanks. Mark.

Question for Craig-
Noticed you used a UP6 brake valve on that particular setup-do you like that valve better than the BVM Smooth stop, for example ?
Thanks-Mike

Default Futura

I wanted to do the simplest possible set-up, minimum possible equipment to ensure low weight, reliability, ease of access and repair, while having a gyro as well, I also switched to electron landing gear to do away with valves, servos and air lines/fittings. Went overkill, ended up putting weight in the nose...
receiver batteries are located on the nose tray
I keep bugging Edgar (his set-up is a few posts above) about his having excess weight and complexity, it’s a sport model, should be kept in “charge, fuel and go” ready status, but that’s just me...

What material is often used in the mounting plates You have in the planes? I suppose it can add rather much weight with all the mounting plates if one do not watch up.

I mostly use Lite Ply 1/8” poplar plywood mostly because it’s easy to work with, cheap, and I have a bunch of it in the shop. Easy to modify if changes needed. Probably lighter stuff out there.

Here's a CAD layout of an install I did for my Ultra Flash. Laser cut out of 1/8" acrylic. I chose bright yellow to match my UF scheme.

I'll try to post a completed install photo later.

My Ultra Lightning. Just finished the refurb this year.

Lower level has a PB Mercury SRS, 3- Electronic Air Valves for gear and doors, 1- Electronic Brake Valve

Fuel Panel- Festo is fill valve, plugged secured and goes through the bottom red shut off valve. The middle valve is for the engine with hose showing for fuel flow and hopefully lack of air.
