Default A/D SU 37 brought back with a new paint job

OK guys here is the new look for my aviation design SU 37 jet, now that we're not that busy I decided not to sell it and fix it and enjoy flying it I will incorporate two 160s Jetcat engines more than enough power.
here are some pictures from before and after .

The flight is awesome I have flown this before, long time ago it was just sitting in the garage unfinished so I decided now to give her a new look the only thing you need to watch is when you come in for landing this time around I will incorporate down on the canards instead of up because it used to balloon.

Very nice! Was just about to ask what paint you use but I see Rustoleum cans in the background that looks suspiciously like the colors used on the plane...is that right?

Yes, Better than any professional at least it does not leave any orange peel and it’s a fraction in cost.

It does look great, I suspect the downside is finding EXACT colors for some of the purists. Do you use their clear as well or something else?

Hi Nick, i see you have cut out the flaps, i heard conflicting reports that they wash out the elevator. What is your opinion?

Yes, For the clear and those I cut out for ailerons and I might use half for flaps with the conords down for landing.

To the OP, if you would have used crayons to paint that thing, I think it looks great!

Having painted with rustoleum in the past, my biggest complaint with my paint jobs is that I find that my rustoleum paints never really harden.

I use rustoleum paints but remove the propellant and pour in my paint gun.
