Default HSD composite jets?

I always assumed HSD only made foam jets, but apparently they are making composite turbine jets now?
Came across this here in the classifieds and it also shows up on their website, along with what looks like a mini Avanti composite

Has anyone else heard of or seen these?

Not sure what you mean by the mini Avanti but I do have one of these. I got mine from Ryan at Nova jets. I beleive that Andy has 10 of them on his next shipment. The dimensions are the same as the foaming version and it uses the same landing gear. I opted to purchase the kit version and flew it during the Jet Together together event in Virginia earlier this month.
No bad tendencies noted except the nose wheel is a bit small like the foamie version. On paved driveway this is not an issue. If your grass runway is thick it will increase the rollout a good bit. I also used my dremel and opened the intakes a bit.

Hi Guys.
Yes, HSD composite Jet plan in progress.
Composite HSD Super Viper PNP available now. We got the first one. Jon will review and get the maiden flight soon in Brisbane Australia.

Looks like an Avanti to me. I've had 2 of them.

Sure does look similar to an Avanti. I noticed the fuselage is fatter from the wing forwards. The stabs have positive dihedral. The wing sits higher up on the fuselage.
I guess if you are stealing ideas, steal good ones!

I like it.

The Super Viper is not new. This is just the composite version. I have been flying the foam version of this plane with a P60 for four years and it’s nice to see this more durable version. It is similar to the Avanti.
