Hi Dave: I am trying to talk Pete into coming down with me on Thursday, weather permintting. If we go, we plan to arrive around lunch time or so. Hope to see you there.

Dave,
Had a great time Sat, little west crosswind, but not too bad.
Sat evening was awsome, your F-22's maiden flight was sensational.
That looks to be a great flying jet. You did a fantastic job on it.
Checkout that cool runway, 3200 feet.
Good food Sat night too, you're a great host.

Thanks Pete! Glad you could make it.
Plans are set for 2009, third weekend in August to do it again, Thursday -Sunday. Thanks to everyone that made it and I hope everyone had a good time and safe trip home.
Anne and I hope the Saturday evening festivities went well and would love feedback if we can improve!
Should have some pics and videos over the next few days.

Sorry we didn't make it down. I had surgery on Wed. and it was kind of up in the air if I would feel good enough to drive down. I ended up watching Don pylon race all day Saturday. I'm glad your planning on next year. I've got the Banidt ARF underway in the basement so I be there next year if the Bandit gods are willing.

OK, time to gear up for the Minnesota Jet Rally 2009!
August 13-16th, 2009 - Rushford Municipal Airport (airnav.com, 55Y), the SouthEast corner of MN in the Root River Valley.
Come fly, relax, eat, fly...IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT COME - CHIME IN, I'd like to pencil in a few things.
I am hoping that we can increase the number of pilots and jets this year! If you have been thinking about coming, make 2009 the year!
This is a free event!
Beautiful N-S runway with flying until sunset.
Dinner (Famous Dave's BBQ) Sat night with bonfire
(4.5 hrs from Chicago; 1.5-2 hrs from Minneapolis St Paul; 3.0-3.5 hrs from Des Moines)
