Default Looking for Aggressor Sqdrn Paint Schemes

A buddy of mine and I are looking for aggressor squadron paint schemes like those used on acft at NAS Fallon (Navy/USMC) and Nellis AFB (USAF). He's building a Y/A single F-18, and I'm going to apply the scheme to a Cyclone, Bandit, or something similar to the F-5's.

I've looked at several USN websites, and they REALLY lack media areas.

Happy Holidays!

Mark,

I did an Aggressor scheme on my Kingcat. Do a search for aggressors and you will come up with several websites. I have a bunch of pictures that I downloaded but I never did add the sites to my favorites.

If you'd like, I can take some pics of my jet and the others here at Nellis. I'm a crew chief on the Aggressors and mine is actually the Red Flag flagship. Let me know and its no problem.

If you can send digitals, I'll get you my ftp server address, or you can send them via e-mail ([email protected]). If you want to mail standard photos, send me a PM so we can make arrangements.

From one DCC to another, very cool!!!!!

Happy Holidays!!!!!

I'll post that I have them here and I'm sure you'll hear from Warbird of the quality. My wife has a really nice digital camera I'll be using. And its no problem guys, thats what this hobby is about. By the way, I know this is the jet forum but does anyone have a O.S. 70 Surpass valve cover laying around? dropping it on the garage floor makes very pretty cracks................
You guys can also do a search for Maple Flag to hold you over. I found this pic of MY JET 87-307 on one of the sites.

Hey Rider, this link was kind of cool
http://www.twobobs.net/html/Models/s...10301_0009.jpg
from your twobobs site.
The top name on 321's door is a guy I used to work with Ed McMillan, LOL, VERY ACCURATE model. He was a cool guy but has been out for about 3 years.
Also, please guys, there's nothing us Aggressor guys hate more than anything is a block 30/32 with a WA tail flash and wing tanks. I know, I know, it's a model.
Thats one of the benefits of working an Aggressor, we NEVER use them.

F16FxR4real:

If you have access to the info, I'd sure appreciate the paint codes/colors for the blue/grey F-16 Aggressors.
I am currently building 2.....a Yellow Aircraft and a BVM. The YA will be painted in the standard 3 tone grey, but I would like to do the BVM in the Aggressor colors.

[email protected]

Again, any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Brg,
Jeff

Not sure what kind of paint you plan on using but here is a good place to start.
http://www.twobobs.net/index.html?ta...tml&lang=en-us
It's off that twobobs site mentioned above. The colors are just about RIGHT ON. We don't use the grey paint scheme anymore. The older ones that were grey are now the desert camo colors.

For aggressor camouflage schemes and FS color codes, look at:

http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/usaf_e.htm

There are several USAF F-16 aggressor schemes on that site.

Well I've got several pics. Anyone like them emailed cause I need to figure out how to host and post them here.
I emailed them to JKIRKON@yahoo already so hopefully he'll post if they are ok or not. Also, sorry they are kind of dark, we've been having crappy weather here in Vegas

I think the book you would like to have is called "Colors Markings of Usaf Aggressor Squadrons", Colors & Markings Vol 11 from Tab Books Inc., Blue Ridge Summit, PA. (1-800-233-1128, it's an old # so I don't know if it works). Available from Amazon for $19.95, used, I believe. Do a search on the title and it'll pop up, I just checked.

I have the C&M of US Navy Adversary Aircraft, C&M Vol 6., ISBN 0-8306-8530-8. 80 pages of color (65 pics) and B&W pics with text. Multiple pics per page. Has pics of the F-5's from the Top Gun movie.

Adam,
We can post the aggressor pics on the USRCJC.com (US RC Jet Command) web if you're looking for long term space. Let me know or send them to me and I'll get 'em posted.
