Well, the facility has been groomed, the blue rooms have been cleaned and the grills are on standby. All we need is you with a big appetite, your plane to complete the picture. Looks like the weather is going to coperate this year. Long range forcast looks great.

I'm not sure on what the procedure is for obtaining a new turbine waiver and don't want to get that discussion started in this thread. Maybe you could contact Steven Ellzey in Grand Prairie or Kevin Whitlow in Carrollton for the correct information. Both of these people will be attending the event.

Hope you can make. Free fajita dinner at field for pilots and their guests.

friday is an open fly day. i'll be sorting out the lunch and then we have the fajita dinner for the pilots and their guests.. there will be several folks on site flying from thursday on, you can simply use an ama card in the freq board. there will be a number of members around if you need any help. i will be out all day friday as well.

Jim, come on up friday and enjoy yourself. We need to drag the "fowl" person out somehow....

should not have to dodge anything. the event is a jet event. I know you all and several others bring your helis and sport planes along for some "after hours" and then night flying. there will not be an issue. and even then the shooting range is right next door.

Look at it as an opportunity to excel. I have ONE kill with my T-33. T-Boned a prop job and broke his 'wing'. Cost me my canopy. The nose job was something else. . .

Pat, the fowl one may show up Saturday evening but he is not sure right now. If the conflict I mentioned develops, I will come and see about a few touch and goes Friday. Gotta charge my batteries up!
