I have also seen a model 1/72 scale in that scheme on hobby shop shelves. I haven't seen much info on those schemes though.

Mark I only saw one side of that F15 so i need to see the rest..I'm going to paint the F15 in that scheme! The Firebird days are just about over!

A jet modeler down Mesa, AZ way - whose name escapes me (help, VinD) - did a version of the jet in your photo based on the Avonds/Aeroloft kit. It was gorgeous! All the dry transfer markings came from Aeroloft so you might contact them for more info - (480) 380-4799. Luke AFB is right down the road from them.
