Matter of fact Tam is currently in China visiting the factory and over-seeing the production of the second generation Viper Jet. This next version is going to be awesome. Tamjets & Cermark are currently sold out of Viperjets, but the next generation shipment will definitely be worth the wait. Tam will be home in another week, then try giving him a call.

HotelSierra, thank you for the information. Just a couple questions. Will the next generation Viper Jet look and be the same, and when will they be available? Thank you

You Viper pilots: If you roll it 90 degrees and add top rudder, does it knife relatively straight? Any rudder roll coupling or significant elevator correction required? Thanks.

There is some slight pitch and roll coupling with rudder, can't remember the direction but only a few % of counter-mix required to compensate. Same amount left and right (of course - no P factor!).

I did not get much time on mine to fully dial it in but it flew much like a 70's era pattern ship - very groovy. It has a HUGE fin/rudder and not much throw is required.

I just left the factory 18 hrs ago. Right now on the way home. I got one of the 2nd generation Viper with me.
I'll post some photos later.
The Viper won't be ready until late August. The factory just start making them.
Brg,

Tam

After 13 hrs flight and 5 hrs drive from LAX. I just got home 5 in the morning. Still haven't go to bed.
Anyways, the new viper look the same as original. The different is internal. The wings, stabs, and fin are laminate with carbon fiber inside where is needed.
The spars are 1/4" thick and machine to fit the original spars channel. The spars channel are 30% longer and bolt with 6 screw and bolts instead of 4. More carbon fiber add to the fuse and reduce fiberclass to fine layer for more strenght and lighter.
Double skin laminate to the wings, stab, and fin to protect from dent.
All the flying surface are using pin hinge. The original using skin hinge method.
Also the new Viper come with complete hardware that we recommended to use.
The main landing gear former are move futher back. It will work with straight struts.
We also offer our own heavy duty landing gear retract and struts. In the past we had some bad experience with other retract and struts supplier.
So this time we supply our retract for the kit.

In the next couple days. I'll post some photos.
Is bed time. I can't hold my eye open any longer.
So the phone are off the hook today.
Open for business tomorrow.
Brg,
Tam
