Need Advice - Avonds F15 Fitting the Turbine (JETCAT 120)
Just placed the turbine in and I am assuming that the turbine exhaust should sit in the centre of the bifucated duct. On mine I have to put a 5 - 6mm spacer in to achive this, is this normal/correct??

Can't post any pics as my father is on holiday and has the digital camera with him.
Found one picture and the guy looks like he has had to do the same but it is difficult to tell for sure.

Hi Nick,
Just make sure it's centred, even if you have to add spacers.
Cheers,
Dick
PS...look fwd to seeing you at Wtn on 25th

Out the garage to make spacers then. Yes will be at Wroughton on the 25th, are you going to st.Athan next weekend, hoping to test fly the F15.

Correct,
If you are using the stock Jetcat mount, it does not sit on center line of the engine, I had to "build up" my engine mounting rails with a .25" (6mm) peice of plywood, that should center the engine properly.
