I have used BVM Aeropoxy in the past but as I understand it this is the same thing and a little cheaper. What is the difference between the two? Is one better than the other for certain applications?

Brandon--Here is a web site that gives you a little insight into most of the Hysol adhesives:

At McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/ Type in page 3166 for the Hysol adhesives. Hysol 9462 isn't listed but typing in 6430A33 gets you the price ($8.50) for the Aeropoxy clone.

Yes, the BVM gun is an industry standard design.

I like the 9460F better because it cures a little faster but I like it for the grey color. Seems more industrial and fitting with airplane construction......YMMV.
