F-117
I got it up on two legs working on the third. It's a little tall the struts have 2" travel and it's sitting at attention. I'm using Robart gear and struts.

Hi: David
Your F-117 look's GREAT!!! I hope you get it in the air soon. I would like to be one of the frist to get one of your kits. I had the AD F-117. It flys great. But a little small. Here is a photo of mine.
Have a GREAT day......

RE: F-117
Dave,
Several years ago I built a F-117 from Parker Leung's plans. It was featured on the cover of the Feb. 1997 RC Modeler magazine. Not very scale with a propellor on the front, but it does have the diamond shaped wing cross section. The origional plan was 42" wing span, which I thought was too small. I blew up the plans to 48" ws, which was as big as I could go and still fit in my car.
When I brought it out to the field I got a lot of the same comments as in this thread; ..."that'll never fly", ..."it's too unstable"..., etc.
With the CG in the plan location it was a little squirelly but flyable. I gradually moved the CG forward and now it's 3/4" forward of the plan location (no idea how that compares to the full scale). Anyway the plane is now rock solid stable and flys very well. All of the local aero experts shut up pretty quickly.
Good luck with your project. Please post pictures and a flight report when done.
