Barracuda!! Has any one built this jet.
This is a Barracuda that I built for a friend. But I use Monokote to cover the jet, to keep it lite.
Its around 8 1/2 pounds. here some pic.

You know, there are so many things about that jet that ALMOST look good but the design just loses flow in many places, if only some of the radii were bigger on the inlet ducts and around the tailpipe so it didn't look so boxy I think it would be a really great looking jet.
Your build job looks nice, at 8.5lbs (is that with fan and engine and everything?) it should fly amazingly!

Very nice! Ah, the Bob Parkinson Baracuda, a poor man's high performance ducted fan jet. Your friend will have a ball with it, and given the weight, should land very nicely.

Well.........
This is his (#2) for him. just started on duct fan. Hes first jet is eagle pro 2 F-15 with a byron set up. So he want something with little more speed. I'am sure he will like it. Heck............We all started with ducted fan jets.
