Grumania Eurofighter
I Understand that Paul Grey our prolific Savex L39 contributor is currently building one of these small Eurofighters.
Would he be intersted in starting a build thread on this model as I for one am intersted in buying it.
If anyone else has one I wuold like to hear about it.

RE: Grumania Eurofighter
Todd, sorry to hear of your friends experience with Grumania. This often seems to be the case with small scale producers.
I have heard that the kit is good quality for the money.I will hold off until I get some positive feedback.

Todd, I respect your decision to withdraw from this thread on the basis of your dealer status. I and I am sure many others, have enjoyed your many contibutions to these forums.
They have been informative and helpfull to many of us particularily beginners at this great part of the hobby. I acknowledge the current comments on the easing of restictions for trade contributions and my own view would be to let anyone join in and we, the customers can exercise our discretion in the acceptance , or otherwise of trade contributions.
Ihope we have not heard the last from you.
Kindest regards
John Agnew

RE: Grumania Eurofighter
I'd like to consider the Grumania Eurofighter for use with the MW44. I'll be getting the F/auto version soon for another airframe. May get this Eurofighter as another airframe for the turbine.

RE: Grumania Eurofighter
Any news on the new 54 sized Eurofighter that is due to come to the market?
It was hinted on another thread and the contributors have run away and hid. If you know anything please let us know as it will make a huge difference to what I spend my money on. I am desperate for a 54 sized Eurofighter. The Grumania one looks 'odd' in the photos (I have been told it is a bit better in the flesh) and the PJP one is a bit small.
I am particularly interested to know who the manufacturer of this new one is.
Thanks.

No problem. I am pleased that you have now finished the model and like the flying characteristics. There are quite a few guys out here who are keen on this model.
Do yoy think the thread will stretch to 75 pages?

RE: Grumania Eurofighter
It's interesting that this thread is almost 4 years old. However Dreamworks still lists the Eurofighter in its website.
Todd, do you still sell it? Has anyone posted a build thread on this jet? At $3,325 with the Wren 44 included it looks like an awesome entry level deal.
Is this jet recommended as a first jet?

It is not impossible to power the Eurofighter with a 44, but it is not recommended for the beginner. With a 54 or the new Wren 70 it is a good flier even for the beginner.

Ilja, thanks for the response.
Another question to you: how does it fly? Meaning, what do you recommend as a minimum runway for landing? I have a 200 meter runway available. Is it enough? (I'm a beginner, so my landings are long).
thanks
Hermann

Hello Herman,
200 metres should be enough .Take off takes about 60 metres. The Eurofighter can be landed on the spot, with some experience you can even achieve "Harrier landings".
