South Florida Jet Together
Well guys this weekend is one of our local shows down here in the Ft. Lauderdale area I was just curious to see who was going. I know that the 332nd Red Tails will be there. Last year we had a great time, we even had a Black Hawk that flew in and landed. Hopefully I'll be there with my starfire and tango the replacement for now for my F-86 that I lost at Florida Jets you could see pictures on takeoff then up in flames, untill I finish my Skymaster Hawk. My son is also very excited because he wants to fly his electrick F-16 pusher and prop Patriot. By the way Justin is only 9yrs old.

Hey Jose,
I will be there. Might be a BBQ and beer day Saturday looking at the forecast but Sunday is looking real good.
When you want to retire the Starfire I have an idea for you. I was just at Tam's and saw the prototype of a turbine F-16 for 500 power. Its probably about a little more than 5 feet long. Fiberglass fuse and monokote covered sheeted wings that could be glassed also. Coming as an ARF with retracts, struts wheels and brakes in June for $1200-1300. The intake ducting was very well done.
Zagi those shots were from Florida Jets 2005 at Lakeland Linder airport. Also the site of Top Gun in a few weeks.
If anyone will be near Ft. Lauderdale this weekend 4/2 & 4/3 the information is at http://mppaonline.com/

Oh please, Basil. Remember the tailhook contest is not until the fall. In the meantime you just keep practicing with that F-18., I'll be on my way down there shortly. [>:]

Ok folks, I'm kind of in a rush, so I'm just going to throw some of these pictures on here, no time for narratives on this one.
Brief rundown, A cold front passed on Saturday at about 12noon which left us with a nice little breeze and a beautiful sunset.
Sunday was absolutely perfect, winds pretty much down the runway. Malcom Kay flew the giant panther which was very impressive. Lot's of hotshots out there. J's big brother made a guest appearance. 332nd guys held it down. Jose's (the Bronx) 9 year old son stole the show with his finely honed flying skills! Jetblue Mark flew the DV8R which in my opinion is the absolute perfect jet for Markham park. Great all around jet. Overall, lots of fun. Great to see all you guys.
I'll post what pics I have and you all can take it from there.
