Default Looking for detailed pics of Y/A twin from Florida jets

What I am looking for is some detailed pics of the Y/A F-18 twins out there.I think that one of them belongs to Mr. Escolona , and the other one is a Blue Angel scheme from a moderator here on RCU.If there are any links that I am missing , please let me know. Thanks

Miguel.
You're very close.
In this case the word "twin" refers to the airframe...not the number of engines. Yellows smaller F-18 is called "single", while the larger is called "twin", as their original designs were for single and twin ducted fans respectively.

Also, the twin-turbine Y/A F-18 twin builder is Kenny Falconer.
The e-mail [email protected] connects you to Shaun Evans of Yellow Aircraft.
He doesn't have the pics your looking for...but he do know about the shiznit.
Attached is a photo by John Christensen of Jorge Escalona's CF-18 Tiger Meet.

Actually, the "twin" refers to the fact that the kit was originally designed for twin ducted fans. Some number were originally completed and flown as twin ducted fan models although brave is the individual who attempted it, IMHO. Its much too large to have ever flown as a single ducted fan, but since the turbines have come out, there are several that are big enough that one of them can power the Y/A "twin." Several folks have looked at powering it with two turbines, but they usually run into problems making the 55 lbs wet rule here in the U.S. with two turbines. So, in fact, the name was logical at one time...

Nighthawk,
Both of my Yellow 'twin' Hornets are powered by a single engine, i.e., P160 and P200. Is there something in particular you are looking for? Let me know.

Hi Jorge,

I love your F18A Hornet. Nice paint scheme very visible in the air.
Hope to see you at LBJ this August.
