Oil % for an Artes Bee
Artesjets Recomends 2.5% oil in the fuel. My question is can you run a 5% mix in it with no adverse affects. I dont want to mix 2 different fuel mixtures. Thanks in advance.

RE: Oil % for an Artes Bee
I have been running 2 Artes Bees with 5% mix (as required by Jetcat) for about 2 years.
While I have yet to reach 25hrs on either engine, I have had no bearing problems and no sooting problems. They have both been upgraded to Superbees, which give a lot more power and the revs are increased from 173k to 180k. Frankly at the higher revs, I feel a lot more comfortable with the higher oil mix.
The real question is when do you replace your bearings? Do you change at 25 hours or do you wait for that scruntchy feel when you turn the compressor. With extra oil you might get longer than 25hours. Has anybody got direct experience?
