No it's not. (sorry) it's the video in your account. Not the public video.

Here's your video.

Hi James
It look like you just run on gas. Test the pump on bench with a variable power supply. With 4,5V you get near full jet. The pump must start at 1,8V/0,8A. If it need more volt or more amps, loosen (in small step) the 2 screws of the pump. The pump have metal brushes that wear in contact with the rotor. On the pictures you can see my pump after 12 running hours. To fix the problem I have take complete cover of a NINCO NC-5 slot motor.

If you can['t get past 45,000 rpm you are probably not getting fuel. to test pump disconnect the fuel line at the motor and and attempt to prime the pump . I don't know what ecu you have to tell you how to do that. if you here the pump buzz and get no fuel check your solenoid. it should open in prime mode.. if that work then the ecu is no telling it to start pumping. spin motor and check that rpm registers. check thermocouple won't pump till 100+. if you over heat the ecu wiill not pump more fuel till temp drops under limit.

Thanks for your help guys. It is very odd, as I recently took the Junior over to Smithy's place and it ran fine with my pump, my gas bottle, my ECU, etc. I figure I must be doing something wrong in the start procedure. I have tested the pump in priming mode and it works fine. I have also tested the pump by removing the fuel line from the turbine and going through the startup procedure to see if the pump is kicking in at the correct rpm and temp settings, and it seems to be. I just can't figure it out. Maybe the pump is not working under the back pressure it is getting when it is hooked up to the turbine. It works fine with the fuel line runnning in free air, but when I hook it up to the turbine it seems to not be working. It is very strange. I am planning on going back to see Smithy to set it up in his workshop again to see if it is me, or if it is some component in my setup.

James.

Can someone post a photo of where the fuel and gas lines go on the JJ1400. I am new to JJ engines and confused on what side takes what line. There are 3 fittings and I am so confused?? I know it must be here somewhere (and I looked) but there are over 100 posts and I get caught up in some of them and forget what I came for .....LOL Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi Mike,

Paypal is the only way to go with Joe. I can not imagine there is anyway to go with this.

Try this link:

Jet-Joe is now run by a new owner, Jason. So far he seems to be pretty easy to contact and talk to via email.

Cheers,
Smithy.
