By the way, does anyone have a picture of the aluminum brace that goes between main gear, and keeps them from spreading out? thanks!

No picture, but it is just a flat piece of aluminum (3/8x3x1/16 inches thick). Drill a hole in each end to fit between one of the of mounting holes in each of the mains. It spans the distance behind the engine.

is it for the fixed or retracts? I have all the original drawings, all the templets and instruction booklet. I'll check when I get back from flying. I had retracts and didn't have a brace between the mains.

Thanks for the info! its for retracts... I read somewhere about this brace, and I agree it would make the landing gear a lot stronger.

I'm back,
I will be finishing up the TOTAL rebuild of my Byro Blaster and after many modifications I'm curious about the CG. I realy don't want to put it in the air without being sure the balance is proper. If anyone can help with this info i would be greatful. As soon as i finish today I'll post some picks. The paint scheme is the same but the mods were a must.
