If you need to, you can slice off 1 or 2mm from the wing skin with a scalpel to remove any chance of the surfaces 'catching'

I had to sand the rudders because they were catching and making that popping sound with the linkages attached. I didn't encounter any popping or catching on the other surfaces, but I did slightly sand them just in case.

I finally got the jet off the ground this weekend. Got 12 flights in. This jet is flying with elevators (inboard) and ailerons (outboard) with a P-120. I'm working on posting some video this week.

Hey just read this thread and wanted to say thanks for all the good info...

Any update as to how the Rookie 2 is flying and holding up ?

Does anyone know were I can find a few videos of it being rung out?
