If you need to, you can slice off 1 or 2mm from the wing skin with a scalpel to remove any chance of the surfaces 'catching'

I had to sand the rudders because they were catching and making that popping sound with the linkages attached. I didn't encounter any popping or catching on the other surfaces, but I did slightly sand them just in case.
I finally got the jet off the ground this weekend. Got 12 flights in. This jet is flying with elevators (inboard) and ailerons (outboard) with a P-120. I'm working on posting some video this week.

As this thread has been moribund for a couple of years, I thought I would post some pic's of my install, got the Rookie second hand and am just ripping everything out and re installing what I want.
