Looking at pictures posted of various Facets, most have the receiver antenna routed outside. Has there been any problems runnung them outside like we do on a conventional model? I've just finshed my Facet 2300 and will be installing the gear shortly

Hi,
I have the receiver mounted at in the corner by the last ply former, forgot it's number. Tied a strain relief knot, goes thru the sheeting and back to the fin. It's anchored to the fin with a small rubber band and straight pin.

Typically the antenna exits just behind and above the RX location (in front of F8) thru the ply top hatch frame with a strain relief then makes its way directly to the top of the Vertical stabilizer.

thats how i have my antenna, same as in the picture above, no problems, 40 flights on her in the past 7 months
